Hi there! I'm Jestyne. I'm the face behind the screen!

This year many people including myself had lost their jobs due to the economic impacts of COVID-19. I was working a full time job as an Esthetician/Cosmetologist at a medical spa. My passion for the arts developed at a young age. As much as I loved beauty, I've always had a keen eye for styling & accessorizing since the age of five. Eighteen years later I created my brand.

Evidently, this year took a toll. When the spa closed in March due to the stay-at-home order, I had no choice (but a lot of time) to think about my next steps. I had more time to learn about the "business world", jewelry making, and even discovering the things I didn't know I was capable of doing. I spent hours and hours learning, researching, and perfecting projects for this line. I enjoyed every moment. I collected all my knowledge and decided to open up Simply Stated JC. Why JC, you may ask? JC stands for Jestyne Carlos and Jewelry Co.

Thank you to my cousin, Jade who built her small business last summer, inspired me to do the same.

Today as I move forward, I evaluate myself not only as a beautician,  but also the creator of Simply Stated JC.
